It's pretty impressive how much a good set of tires can improve a 1/24 scale crawler's performance. My son's micro crawler can actually get around on good sized rocks now. Do yourself a favor and buy some new wheels while you're at it, the stock wheels on his ECX did not like any of the usual methods of de-glueing tires, and weren't quite 1" anyway, so I ended up having to place another order for new 1" wheels.
