RPM rear shock towers for the electric versions of the Slash, Stampede, Rustler & Bandit were designed with one thing in mind – rugged durability. Once again, we’ve exceeded our own expectations with this shock tower. While we’ve maintained all stock geometry on these shock towers, we’ve beefed them up in all the right places to eliminate annoying rear shock tower breakage. Our version of this shock tower uses an I-Beam construction that improves durability and rigidity as well. At the base of the shock tower, we’ve improved the screws’ head clearance of the bulkhead mounting screws to eliminate the bind normally associated with the stock rear shock tower. All these design elements combine to create the ultimate lightweight, bulletproof rear shock tower for the electric versions of the Slash, Rustler & Stampede.

RPM rear shock towers for the Traxxas Slash, Electric Stampede, Electric Rustler & Bandit are molded in black and are backed by our famous breakage warranty. These towers are direct replacement parts for ease of installation.

Tech Notes: These rear shock towers can be used on the Traxxas Bandit. However, there are no provisions for a rear wing built in.

4 of 5 Very tough, benefits from new hardware. September 1, 2018

I've got a few of these now, they are very resilient, and have not had any catastrophic failures like the stock piece has, and returns to it's original shape, unlike aluminum versions. The only complaint would be that the more flexible plastic doesn't seem to hold threads as well as the stock part, or aluminum variations, but a longer bolt with a nut on the back solves that issue.
